Logline:
Splinters centers on twelve year old, Emma, toeing the border between childhood and adulthood. While helping clean out her late grandmother's home, Emma uncovers solemn truths about her mother's upbringing that pollute her idealistic perception of her, exposing her mother as a flawed, complex human for the first time.
